Captain Matt and Sons Charters is here to help you experience the stunning waters of Bullhead City. With Captain Matt at the helm, you’re in knowledgeable and experienced hands.
Depending on conditions, you might hook into Striped Bass, Catfish, and whatever else is biting. During the trip, you might be spinning, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
If you’re traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!
Your trip begins aboard a 22’ Sportsman center console that can carry up to 4 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Capt. Matt will supply rods and reels for you.
Before coming aboard, you may be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect. Some essentials to bring are a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Matt is the coolest. I fished alone which could have been super awkward, but Matt is personable and so interesting. Never dull moment. Already planning my next trip out with him.

Fun Trip
It took a while but we found the stripers. Very fun. Just be careful boarding since the boat will move from the pier and have you doing the splits. No fun for a handicapped woman. I highly recommend this captain and trip regardless!
