Around here it’s common to catch Crappie, and more if conditions are right. You’ll target your catch by light tackle fishing, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

If you’re traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board.

Capt. Dustin runs a 21’ Triton bass boat that holds up to 3 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Rods, reels, and tackle are included, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect. It’s never a bad idea to bring sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks for you on board.
