PWC Salmon Angler
PWC Salmon Angler has a trip with your name on it along the stunning ocean waters of Campbell River. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Marc can tell you all about them.
These waters are known for Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, Pink Salmon, Sockeye Salmon, Chum Salmon, and more – with any luck, they'll make your reel scream. Depending on the species you're after, you may find yourself trolling, drifting, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Marc also offers fly fishing.
Any fish within the legal limit are yours to keep. Catch cleaning is available, so you can take your fish home without any hassle. Enjoy it later that day or pack it away for months later.
Children are welcome, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Your K9 is welcome aboard! Also, remember to bring snacks – lucky for you, there will already be some on board!
You'll find yourself aboard a 21' Campion cuddy cabin with room for 4 passengers. It has downriggers and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures.
Before coming aboard, you will need to buy a tidal fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect. Some essentials to bring are sunblock (non-spray), a hat and sunglasses. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is not allowed aboard the boat. There will be light snacks included on board. Catering can be purchased with 24 hour notice.

Marc hosted a wonderful day for our family (2 boys, 11,13). We have a beautiful boat ride and caught many fish. The boat is comfortable and snacks were lovely. Marc has a lot of knowledge of fishing and the general area, we learned a lot and of course brought home some beautiful Chinook for dinner.

It was my pleasure to have you and your family aboard and hooking up to some nice Chinook. The boys handled the fishing gear with enthusiasm!
We are two couples with fishing experience ranging from lots to none. The weather was fabulous and we caught more fish than we knew what to do with. We also spent much of the day with two humpback whales hanging around. Marc's boat is comfortable and he brought us snacks as well as a wonderful lunch. He set up the fishing poles for us, showed us what to do and made sure we caught lots of fish. He filleted all the fish for us so we could take it with us. I would highly recommending booking with Marc.

My pleasure to have you aboard and hook up to some nice salmon. Captain Marc
Our trip with Captain Marc could not have been better! We were catching fish from the moment our lines went down. The fishing was hot and we could not have been happier. Captain Marc is very knowledgeable and worked hard to make sure our day was a positive one. We highly recommend his services if you are looking for a guide in Campbell River!

I was my pleasure to have you and your husband aboard hooking up to some nice salmon and watching three humpback whales playing in the shallows.

Caught many wild coho that had to be let go, landed 2 12lb chinook, but lost a couple that were also probably chinook one felt very big. Only one hatchery coho to keep but it is early for hatchery coho to be here in force. Lost a bunch of fish so no lack of action.

My pleasure to have you both aboard and hooking up to some nice salmon.
Booked a six hour trip with Captain Marc and it was non-stop action the entire time. Marc's knowledge is exceptional, and we caught a few different species using a range of gear and employing various techniques. Good value and a great experience!

It was my pleasure to have you aboard and hooking up to some nice salmon and harvesting a couple of coho to take home.

The passion to fish. I have been fishing since I was a little boy with my father. Over the years I've fished freshwater and saltwater from the shoreline and from boats in Canada and USA. I'm now retired from my career in aviation and welcome both novice and seasoned anglers to fish for 5 species of migrating salmon in the Discovery Passage of British Columbia's Pacific Playground. In the past decade, I've specialized as a saltwater salmon captain/guide and 'coach' on Canada's Pacific West Coast for both charities and charter guests.
