Fishing Storie Charters is here to show you the stunning waters of Campbell River.
These waters are known for Pink Salmon, Chum Salmon, Coho Salmon, Chinook Salmon, and more – with any luck, you’ll hook into a few! On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Snacks are also a good idea!
Capt. Jason operates a 27’ Boston Whaler Conquest sportfishing vessel with a capacity for 4 passengers. It comes with downriggers and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Jason will supply rods and reels for you, along with lures.
Before coming aboard, you will need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
It’s never a bad idea to bring sunblock (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now and then the fish might get away, but a day on the water never should. So make it happen, with Fishing Storie Charters!
