Salmoncrazy Adventures is your first choice for catching fish all day in Kodiak, Alaska! They catch multiple species every day, and fill the boat with fish. With Captain Jeff at the helm, you’re in knowledgeable and experienced hands.

These waters are known for Salmon, Halibut, Lingcod, Rockfish, Cod, Flounder, and more – it won’t take long to hook up, boat ride to the fishing grounds is minimal. You can expect to do mostly drift jigging with a relatively light tackle from top to bottom for all species. They sometimes troll if the conditions require it, or maybe something more specialized in this area if conditions are favorable to another technique.

Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Child-sized life vests are available.  You’ll be fishing aboard a 30’ Osprey pilothouse with a capacity for 6 passengers. It has downriggers and all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. What’s more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. You’ll find top-quality rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as custom hand-made lures.

Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 15-20% tip is customary.

Before coming aboard, you need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect. Don’t forget to bring rain gear and boots, lunch, bottled water, and sunglasses.  Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks included on board.
