Spend the day with 1 on 1 Fishing and get up close and personal with Redfish and Speckled Trout. Captain Dennis Wenzel will take you and a companion on a shallow water excursion in the Chiquita, a Freedom Boats flats boat, where we will explore the back flats of Redfish Bay, South Bay, Lighthouse Lakes, and several other shallow bay areas around Aransas Pass, Texas.

This artificial lure fishing trip is not like other bait trips in the area. We often do wade fishing, sight casting, and structure fishing. Depending on the conditions, we will throw topwaters, broken-backs, corkies, and soft plastics. The day can be split chasing Redfish and Speckled Trout.

Bring your best casting or spinning rods and reels, or they can be furnished upon request. And by all means, bring your waders in cooler weather.

Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear a life vest, so please bring one that fits him or her snugly. I will provide bottled water. Snacks are also a good idea to bring so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!

Capt. Dennis operates a 14’ Freedom Boats "Chiquita’, which will take you where only airboats will be seen. Running in one foot of crystal clear water is an experience you’ll not soon forget.
