These waters are known for Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), White Marlin, Blue Marlin, Great Barracuda, Sailfish, Yellowtail Snapper, Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo, Cero Mackerel, and more – with any luck, it won't be long before "Fish on!"
On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using heavy tackle.
If you're traveling with the family, youwill be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Snacks are also a good idea – lucky for you, there will already be some on board!
Your fishing machine for the day is a 38' Sportfishing that can carry up to 10 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.
Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures.
You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Have in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
It's never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
An dockage tax of $15 per person will be charged.
