He has fished from Quepos to Flamingo but has fished out of Carrillo for the past 35 years

Specializing in off shore fishing targeting Marlin, Yellowfin Tuna,Sailfish, Wahoo, and Mahi. Fly fishing is also offered but you need to bring your own gear, at least a 13 wieght rod is needed for sailfish.

Kingfisher Sportfishing is a kid-friendly charter service, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! Life jackets are provided. Part of the fun is finding the massive schools of porpoise offshore, a memory no one will soon forget!

Perfect day for a family that has never fished before!
Full Day Trip on August 9, 20252 adults

Captain Rick knows what he's doing and will guide yoy through all the steps of finding and cathching fish. I caught (and released) a sailfish and my kids a blue marlin (catch & release) and a yellow fin tuna (which we kept and ate later that evening). We also saw sea turtles, dolphins and a mother whale with calf on our way back home.

Reported catch:

Great day with the fam
Full Day Trip on December 30, 20252 adults

Spent the day with Captain Rick and mate Orlando. After a slow morning, we found the yellowfin tuna and caught plenty. Once we had some fish for eating we targeted billfish and hooked and landed two sails. A great day, and excellent hosts.

Optimism
Full Day Trip on December 4, 20255 adults

Fishing was very slow, with zero hits most of the day. We wanted to call it around 1 but the captain would not quit until my daughter caught something. Around 2:00 out day turned positive when we hooked into a blue marlin!
