Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Cobia, Mahi Mahi, Gag Grouper, Scamp Grouper, Red Grouper, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Sailfish, Lane Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Yellowtail Snapper, Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo, and whatever else is biting. On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using heavy tackle.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board.
Your boat for the day is a 31' center console with space for 6 passengers. It has outriggers and all the essentials. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish. It's never a bad idea to bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks for you on board.

We have been chartering boats to go off shore fishing in the area annually for 20 years. This was perhaps the best trip we’ve ever had. Captain Remus got us on the fish instantly, and we were cranking them up. When a school of kingfish came by he was ready with the topwater bait. Great energy, super knowledgeable, and the freezer is full!!! Doesn’t get any better than that.

This was our family’s first experience off shore fishing and it was great! Captain Remus and James were pros! We quickly got some great catches. Mahi, trigger, and snapper. Caught enough for dinner for 11 people that night. Delicious. Would definitely recommend Captain Remus. Gave our family a great first experiecne.

Best trip since we moved to Florida. We had the best time. The captain put us on fish within a few minutes of arriving at reef . Captain and crew were super personable. my son and friend visiting from college had the best time. Highly recommend on your next trip out of fort pierce.

Remus was awesome. We caught king fish, mahi, and red snapper. My boyfriend loved it, I got seasick. Remus was very helpful and kind when I was sick. Would absolutely book him again.

Captain Remus was great. Seas were rough, but that was the only negative. Remus and Big Willie were great. Put us on fish right away. Looking forward to making fish tacos with our catch!
