These waters are known for Yellow Perch, Walleye, and more – with any luck, you’ll find out for yourself!

You’ll target your catch by spinning, trolling, drifting, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

If you’re traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!

You’ll find yourself aboard a 27’ Cuddy cabin that holds up to 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience.

Capt. Karl will provide rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.

Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.

You might need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

It’s always wise to bring a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is not allowed.
