These waters are known for Smallmouth Bass, Brook Trout, Lake Trout, White Perch, Salmon, and more – with any luck, they’ll make your reel scream. On these trips, it’s common to troll using light tackle. Capt. Craig also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.

If you’re traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board.

Capt. Craig will bring you aboard an 18’ Crestliner Fishhawk aluminum fishing boat with space for 3 passengers. It has downriggers and all the essentials. Rods and reels are not included, so ask the captain about bringing your own or renting some for an extra cost. Be sure to ask about bait and lures as well.

Before coming aboard, you will need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

Some essentials to bring are sunscreen (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks provided on board.
