I am an avid sportsman, born and raised right here in the mountains of western North Carolina. I have been fishing trout and bass since I was a young child. I had my first fly rod before I was 10 and was catching native brookies in the park before most kids got their first Nintendo. The outdoors has been a passion of mine since birth.

I have recently restructured my professional career to pursue my passion as a full-time career. I own a locally operated guide service that offers fishing, backpacking, and hiking trips. What sets me apart from my competitors is my native knowledge of the area and rivers as well as my lengthy experiences as a professional rafting guide. I have logged over 1000 commercial whitewater rafting trips locally for an outfitter and never had any accidents, injuries, or bad reviews.

I pride myself on safety and catching your dream fish, be it a native Brookie that has never met a human before, a trophy Brown, or an overnight/multiday trip into one of the most scenic gorges in the country. My whitewater experience allows me to take you into some of the most remote gorges on the East Coast. Let's go catch a monster and build memories.
