Sooke Saltwater Fishing 

Hoping to explore and experience the Westcoast? Then Sooke Saltwater Fishing has a trip with your name on it! With Captain Tristan at the helm, you'll have a knowledgeable and experienced guide to get you out, safe and into an experience of a lifetime.

These waters are known for Halibut, Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, Pink Salmon, Rockfish, Lingcod, and more – with any luck, it won't be long before "Fish on!"

During the trip you might be fishing with heavy tackle, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. For the more adventurous among you, there's spearfishing.

Capt. Tristan is happy to have kids aboard, so get 'em offline and onto the water! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. And, you can't go wrong with snacks to keep 'em happy!

You'll be welcome aboard a 24' Sportfishing that can carry up to 7 passengers. It comes with downriggers, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.

Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with all of your gear, tackle and bait.

Before coming aboard, you will need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

Some essentials to bring are sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
