You can expect to do some spinning, popping, trolling, or maybe something more specialized in this area. For the more adventurous among you, there's bowfishing.
Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are also a good idea so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!
Capt. Sean runs a 17' Key West flats boat that can carry up to 3 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish. You can't go wrong when you bring bottled water, sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. We had a Full Out Blast with Sean!!! He took us to a spot deep in the back waters, where bait fish were crashing the surface with predators right on their tails. We caught tarpon, snook, trout, juvenile Goliath grouper, and a Jack. Then to top the evening Sean brought us back out to fish for big Tarpon under a bridge and I was awarded the Best Fathers Day present a man could ask for. I got to watch my youngest Son catch a 150lbs+ Silver King…. A Fish of A Life Time!!! Thanks to a Great Knowledgeable Captain and Grand Time on the Water!!! Thanks Sean!!!
