Spend the day with Gordon's Generational Guide Service and find out what the fishing in Southern Oregon is all about! Having logged many hours on these rivers, Tyler (Captain Gordo) knows them forwards and back.
These waters are known for world class runs of Salmon and Steelhead– with any luck, it won't take long to hook into some.
You can expect to do some drift fishing, bobber doggin' or something more specialized for this area.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. And, you can't go wrong with snacks – luckily, Capt. Gordo will have some on board!
Tyler runs both a 17' customized Pavati fishing boat with space to accommodate up to 4 passengers comfortably; and a fully customized Willie Raptor jet boat that will accommodate groups of up to 6. The boats will be prepared ready with all the essentials.
You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as all necessary saftey equipment. Tyler will coach and teach passengers of all ages and ability. No fishing skills are required.
Before coming aboard, you will need to buy a fishing license and tags for everyone in your group. This can be completed online, or you can ask the captain for directions on purchasing in-person. Some species are protected and/or require a tag to keep them, we will help you understand what to expect.
You can't go wrong in bringing bottled water, food, sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses on warm weather trips OR warm layers, boots and rain gear for inclement weather days. Bottled water will be available. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. On full day trips, there will be hot pizza or cinnamon rolls available via the on-board oven.

As a grandma, there are moments you hope your grandson will remember long after he has grown—and our guided fishing trip with Gordon’s Generational Guide Service is one of those moments for us. The boat itself was beautiful, comfortable, and impeccably equipped with top-notch gear that made us feel safe and well cared for the entire day. From beginning to end the fishing experience offered by Tyler was incredible. His hospitality and knowledge made it real easy to feel right at home while fishing. Thank you for the hard work and constant effort it took to tag out this weekend, the fishing wasn’t easy but we made it happen!

What an epic trip!!! As promised we truly had an amazing family trip. Being able to go out as a family of four was pretty awesome. Tyler was awesome with helping out 7 and 6 year old land fish all day. Truly grateful for the experience and we will be back.
