Reel Life Great Lakes Sportfishing invites you to experience the stunning waters of Lake St. Clair. Having logged many hours on these waters, Captain Earl can tell you all about the local fishery.
Depending on the season, you might hook into Walleye, Musky, Smallmouth Bass and who knows what else! On the day of your trip you’re likely to troll.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Also remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!
Capt. Earl runs a 27’ Sportfish with a capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is included.
You may have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates often work for tips and it’s customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.
Before coming aboard, you need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain.
A few items to bring include sunglasses, bottled water, a cooler for your catch and sunblock. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
And that’s it! Your fishing trip with Reel Life Great Lakes Sportfishing is just a click away.
