If you’re in the market for a day to remember, look no further than Red Alert Fishing Charters. Captain Kenny will be your guide, which allows you to benefit from years of professional experience.
Depending on the season, you might hook into Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, Snook, Black Drum, Mangrove Snapper, Sheepshead, and whatever else is biting.
Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Kenny also offers an introductory to fly fishing.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are never a bad idea so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!
Your trip begins aboard a 23’ Bay boat that can carry up to 4 passengers. It comes with all of the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a toilet at the boat ramp before or after your trip. Capt. Kenny will provide rods and reels for you, as well as lures and live bait.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Have in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.
It’s never a bad idea to bring bottled water, sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

3/4 Day Trip
Best guided trip yet!
We have gone out with guides multiple times in numerous places but have never had a fishing guide hop out of the boat to help land a fish! We caught the biggest fish of our lives and had a blast doing it. Minus the one Snook we caught, we caught fish we had never caught before - Black Drum, Red Fish, Sheepshead. Kenny has a great personality, he was fun to be out with, took us to a lot of different sites. Well worth the trip and the time spent with him for a great trip out. We are looking forward to going out with him again and would definitely encourage you to consider him. Thanks for the memories!

Phenominal experience!!!!
Honestly, i dont know where to start as this was the absolute best fishing experience that ive had on a private charter. Captain Ken is extremely knowledgeable of the fish and the environment they live in. He knew where they were and he demonstrated that by putting us on a variety of fish to catch n cook and also some to release. Most notably was my catch of a 32 inch Red that i plan to put on the wall in my office. And by the way, im getting that done through him as well. He even jumped in the water to make sure i didn’t lose him! Just an absolute great guy that i plan to fish with every year as i come back down to visit my family in Florida. Thanks again Captain! You made our day. And if you’re reading this, book your trip today!!! Thank me later. 💯

Unforgettable Memories and great fishing stories!
Every summer, my grandson Fritz and I take a special vacation together, just the two of us—a tradition that means the world to both of us. This year, one of the highlights of our trip was a day spent fishing with Red Alert Fishing Charter in Melbourne, Florida, and what a day it was! From the moment we set out, Captain Kenny had us busy reeling in a variety of fish. He was knowledgeable, patient, and clearly passionate about what he does. With his help, we caught an amazing spread of species—Redfish, Black Drum, Atlantic Spadefish, Mangrove Snapper, Sheepshead, and even some Pinfish. Great trip for a newbie and an old sailor!
Captain was incredibly knowledgeable and went above and beyond to ensure first trip out for a newbie was safe, fun and action-packed . He took great care to make sure we were comfortable, tailored the trip to our needs, and set us up with the tools and instruction to guarantee success on a beautiful morning on the river. We’re definitely going back out again soon!

Great trip
Capt. Kenny was great. Did a 6 hour trip with my 2 grandsons. The Capt was great with the kids. My 8 year old caught his first snook, reddish and drum and completed the slam with a trout. Took plenty of fish home. Capt even jumped in the water to help my other grandson land a 27 inch drum. His biggest fish ever. Being from south Louisiana and fishing along I can't btag enough about the job Capt. Kenny did. Strongly recommend him if your looking for a great experience
