Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks – lucky for you, there will already be some on board!
You will be fishing from a locally-made 27’ sportfishing vessel with a capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. The Captain has rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.
Before coming aboard, you will need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don’t forget to bring sunglasses, a hat, and sunblock (non-spray). Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks included on board.
