Islander Lake Erie Fishing Charters
There's a fish with your name on it in Lakeside Marblehead and Islander Lake Erie Fishing Charter will help you catch it! With Captain Bernie at the helm, you'll have a knowledgeable and experienced guide.
Around here fishing is popular for Walleye, Yellow Perch, Smallmouth Bass, and more if you cast your line at the right time of year. During the trip, you might be spinning, trolling, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Your boat for the day is a 28' Marinette with space for 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods and reels are supplied for you at no extra cost. Be sure to ask about bait and lures, they're included as well.
Before coming aboard, it will be necessary to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Our trip with Islander Lake Erie Fishing Charters was outstanding. Captain Wise was very flexible and great to work with in planning the trip. He made recommendations to ensure that our group caught as many as possible and took the time to coach us when we needed it. He even arranged to have someone pick up the fish that we caught at the dock and have them cleaned and prepared for the trip home. We are all looking forward to fishing with Captain Wise again soon!
I grew up fishing on Lake Erie and the Islands. I started running charters as a hobby business several years ago and now that I'm retired I have an opportunity to be available 7 days per week.
