Erie Sunrise Charters mission is to provide a fun experience catching Lake Erie Walleye!
Our means of fishing is trolling. Captain Alex will show you how to run the gear and you will get a good workout reeling in the fish!
You can sit on a cooler to reel in the fish or stand at the back of the boat while holding good balance to get the fish into the net! We strive for a successful day of catching Walleye and putting one of the worlds tastiest fish in your freezer!
To achieve success we will go where the fish are, from years of experience and collaboration with other captains! Safety is our number one priority as we venture out into the Lake! All safety equipment is onboard and we will provide all necessary information before departing!
Come join us for a fun filled day fishing for walleye at 'The Walleye Capital of the world', as well as possibly one of the most beautiful sunrises you'll ever see!!!

- Toilet There is a cabin toilet. It is enclosed and is a smaller space but it works and I do my best to keep it clean and smelling good!

- Live bait (All tackle and bait is part of the trip. Any and all bait will be acquired before departure.)

- Catch cleaning & filleting (Filleting fish is not apart of the trip. I can fillet the fish for you at the marina's provided filleting station for an additional fee of $2 per fish. Or I can call a company to come pick up the fish, which they will fillet/prepare and you can pick up.)

Fishing and boating on Lake Erie was introduced to me by my dad when I was only 10 months old. Ive been boating and fishing on Lake Erie all my life with family and friends. Ive been taking friends fishing since I was 14 when I passed the boater safety coarse. Since 2006 Ive been taking friends and family walleye and perch fishing just about every weekend on Lake Erie. I love all aspects of the 'Lake Erie Experience', from the Sunrise to the sunset, getting to the right fishing spot, watching and catching fish, filleting the fish and cooking it!! My favorite species to catch is Walleye, perch and Smallmouth bass. Its always been my dream to be a competitive angler but I enjoy watching others catch fish just as much. Especially my 4 sons Jaxson, Camden, Lawson, and Weston. They are my why I do what I do everyday! USCG Licensed Captain of the 30' Sportcraft named 'Erie Sunrise' since 2024!!

How cancellations work
You can cancel or modify your booking up to 7 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

Transfer to/from departure site is not included in trip rates.
How you can pay
When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 15% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
