Depending on the season, you might hook into Cobia, Goliath Grouper, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Mangrove Snapper, Mutton Snapper, Red Snapper, Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo, Scamp Grouper, Red Grouper, Amberjack, Gag Grouper, and anything else that bites. On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.

Your trip begins aboard a 35’ HammerCat center console catamaran that holds up to 6 passengers. It has outriggers and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, along with lures. Live bait is available, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more. It’s never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Water is included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
