If you're here to make the most of fishing in Port Clinton, look no further than The Fins Charter Services. Captain Andrew will be your guide, bringing aboard years of angling experience.
Yellow Perch, Walleye, and more inhabit these waters, depending on conditions. During the trip you might be light tackle fishing, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
Your excursion begins aboard a 25' hardtop cuddy cabin with space for 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures and live bait.
Before coming aboard, it may be necessary to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain.
Don't leave home without sunglasses, a hat, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Captain was excellent, extremely knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

It was great to fish with you guys ! Great fishing skills !

Waves were a little rough the day we went so be sure to take Dramamine before hand or you will end up chumming the waters!!

It was definitely a little bumpy, but the whole crew powered through to a fantastic finish ! See you again, Fish On!!

Thanks for the great review. It was a pleasure to have your crew aboard! We definitely hooked some giants !

Pros: captain was knowledgeable and moved around to different spots. Caught approx. 35 so it was slow. Cons: boat was not comfortable for a group of 4. Brought my wife and granddaughter, not sure if it had a working head. I do not think the rigs using the flies now used for perch were correct, the leaders from line to the fly were inconsistent and in some cases not long enough. Fishing booker listed fish cleaning was included but was not even after I discussed with the captain. He was supposed to cover but must have forgot.

I will work to improve. Thanks for your feedback. It was definitely a slow day of perch fishing.
I was born and raised in Northwestern Ohio. I have been fishing Lake Erie since I was able to fish. Walleye and Yellow Perch are two of my favorite fish to catch. There is nothing better than perch after perch coming over the rail into the pail.
