If you’re here to make the most of fishing in Port Clinton, look no further than The Fins Charter Services. Captain Andrew will be your guide, bringing aboard years of angling experience.
Yellow Perch, Walleye, and more inhabit these waters, depending on conditions. During the trip you might be light tackle fishing, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
Your excursion begins aboard a 27’ Cuddy cabin with space for 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures and live bait.
Before coming aboard, it may be necessary to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain.
Don’t leave home without sunglasses, a hat, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
If you have any questions about fishing with The Fins Charter Services, just send Capt. Andrew a message down below.

Waves were a little rough the day we went so be sure to take Dramamine before hand or you will end up chumming the waters!!

7 Hour Trip – Perch
Pros: captain was knowledgeable and moved around to different spots. Caught approx. 35 so it was slow. Cons: boat was not comfortable for a group of 4. Brought my wife and granddaughter, not sure if it had a working head. I do not think the rigs using the flies now used for perch were correct, the leaders from line to the fly were inconsistent and in some cases not long enough. Fishing booker listed fish cleaning was included but was not even after I discussed with the captain. He was supposed to cover but must have forgot.
