There’s a fish with your name on it in Brookeland and Bill Roger’s Guide Service will help you catch it!
These waters hold game fish like Crappie, Largemouth Bass, and more. You’ll target your catch by spinning, popping, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
Your adventure begins aboard a 21’ Skeeter bass boat that can carry up to 2 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.
You will need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
You can’t go wrong when you bring sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

You can't go wrong with Bill Rogers
Bill is just a great guy. You instantly feel like you've known him all your life. He is upbeat, loves to talk and is not afraid to tell you what he knows about fishing. It was my self, my grandson and Bill. I told Bill before we went out that I wanted my grandson to experience what it was like to have a good bass day and Bill did not disappoint. We made great memories that day. Thank you Bill.

Bill Rogers - A Texan Treasure
Bill is an absolute SAGE when it comes to bass fishing! In his professional bass fishing career he has won multiple tournaments and boats across the USA. There’s his pedigree. He knows Rayburn like the back of his hand. On our one day trip, at fish number 80, we set the goal of catching 100. We accomplished that goal and called it a day. Spotted (Kentucky) bass, white bass, and 1 catfish. There’s the results. Bill is such a genuine person, kind, patient, has a great sense of humor, and boy can he tell stories (I mean he is a fisherman after all 😁). It was my 14 y/o boy and myself on LSR that day, and we couldn’t have conjured up a better guide who became a friend somewhere along the way. There’s the man. If you’re lucky enough to book Bill, you won’t be disappointed. In fact, whether you catch 100 fish or 10, you will walk away with a fond memory and the reward of getting to know Bill.

I can’t say enough great things about Mr. Bill. From start to finish of relaxation and great company. Mr Bill was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and ensured we were having a great time. We caught a variety of fish. Even when the bite is tough Mr Bill knows how to put you on fish. Mr Bill is my guy moving forward and highly recommend to anyone is is ready to catch fish. Good Trip
Had a good trip today with Bill. Went into the day knowing that the lake was just starting to turnover. Nevertheless, Bill was able to put us on fish. He was personable and friendly. We had several different conversations throughout our trip. Weather was great, a bit choppy, but all in all a pretty good half day trip. We would fish with Bill again. 👍👍
