Bill Roger's Guide Service – Crappie
There's a fish with your name on Lake Sam Rayburn and Bill Roger's Guide Service will help you catch it! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Bill knows them forwards and back.
These waters are known for Crappie, and more – with any luck, they'll make your reel scream. You'll target your catch by spinning, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Don't forget to bring snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
You'll be fishing aboard a 24' Hurricane deck boat with a capacity for 10 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Bill has rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's recommended to bring sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Bill Roger's Guide Service will make it easy for you to go fishing in Browndell. So, how about booking that trip?

We had a great trip with Bill-he took the 3 of us out and made sure each of us caught fish. He helped us bait the hook, told us where to drop our lines and very heroically helped my wife catch a huge catfish that broke his net (sorry Bill!). Our son said he can’t wait to go on another guided trip next year. We caught quite a bit of fish and Bill cleaned it for us too. Bill really does make sure everyone has a good experience, we had a lot of fun, definitely recommend! Five stars! l

thanks so much
Bill is very motivated to put you on fish. He does everything possible to ensure that you have a successful experience. Get guide and a pleasure to be around. Highly recommend Bill and you will not be disappointed in your trip.

thanks so much
Bill took us out and had us on crappie within 10 minutes. We kept 37 but caught close to 200. We were still catching crappie when we decided to call it a day. Bill is an excellent guide captain and host

Thanks for review looking forward seeing you again

Bill was determined that we catch some fish, so we deep fished with live bait racking up about 30 decent yellow and white bass in the morning. Us being spin-casters, he accomodated us for the afternoon and that's where we caught the big boys in the creeks and inlets for about 15 more. Had a great time, highly recommended, we'll be going back to him next year.
Captain Bill was outstanding. Me and my grandson had a great time and caught over a 100 fish. Will do this again. Thanks Bill for the good time!
Capt. Bill runs trips out of Brookeland aboard a 21' Skeeter bass boat. These waters are known for Crappie and Bass and he will show you how to catch them, whether you're popping or jigging. With great knowledge of these waters, he has a trick or two up his sleeve, and the only way to learn is to join him out on the water!
