These waters hold game fish like Yellowfin Tuna, Sailfish, Wahoo, Swordfish, Yellowtail Amberjack, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Striped Marlin, Black Marlin, Sierra Mackerel, Blue Marlin, and more if you cast your line at the right time of the year.

You can expect to do some fishing with heavy tackle, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Angel can also have you kite fishing.

Your fishing machine for the day is a 60’ Motor yacht that holds up to 8 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. What’s more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible.

Rods and reels are not included, so ask the captain about bringing your own or renting some for an extra cost. Be sure to ask about bait and lures as well.

There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.

You might need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

It’s always wise to bring sunscreen (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
