Are you looking for the perfect fishing experience along the Riviera Maya? Over the last two decades Ivan & crew have built an unwavering reputation for delivering top-notch fishing charters and unforgettable fishing & snorkeling combo tours. Our boat Papa Kees offers plenty of shade, cushioned seating, a bathroom, state-of-the-art fishing gear and all the comfort needed for a perfect day on the water. Conveniently moored in the bay of downtown Playa del Carmen, most resorts along the Riviera Maya are within just a 25 minutes taxi ride of our meeting point.
Depending upon the season and weather & water conditions, our crew will inform you with the best options for catching. This may include trolling, jigging and/or bottom fishing. Supported by only quality fishing equipment, fish finder and years of experience, our crew will do the best they can to put you on fish.
Due to the unique topography with a big drop off within just one mile from the coastline, main fishing grounds are reached within 10 minutes after departure, maximizing actual fishing time and making our tours an unforgettable & high-value experience for anglers of all levels.
Looking for a break from the fishing? Our combo tour offers excellent fishing with amazing snorkeling along the second largest barrier reef in the world, including a variety of marine life, colorful fish, and a good chance to spot turtles or stingrays. If you prefer to spend some time relaxing on a secluded beach and go for a swim, that is a great break from the fishing as well. There will be enough time for each favorite activity.

The Captain and the maid, Daniel we're really really good. likewise, the equipment and the boat were also good. We a nice selfish that we got a few photos with, then released. it was fun because a few of us took turns really amen and I got him to the boat. only downside was getting too and from the boat, which required waiting waist high in seaweed and navigating a rocky bottom. other than that I would highly recommend going with these guys. AL
Hi Albert, congratulations again on that gorgeous Sailfish. We only wish the Marlin sighting had resulted in a catch as well! We completely understand your comments regarding the boarding situation. This week conditions have been challenging. With the current southeast winds pushing in sand, and the ongoing beach cleaning efforts organized by the municipality, boarding should become more comfortable again in the coming days. In the meantime, we recommend guests to wear water shoes. Thanks again for joing captain Mike and mate Danny aboard of the Papa Kees. It was a pleasure and a lot of fun having your party aboard!
We had 3 bites (sailfish, baracoda, and jack) but were not able to reel anything in, that's why its called fishing and not catching! Captain and crew did an amazing job changing baits trying to get us a bite tgat would stick. Highly recommend this crew!

Miguel and Chino were great and very helpful. We enjoyed our time on the water. Chino was very helpful and informative. The bathroom works! I would recommend this trip to anyone. Salud!

Had a good day on the water. Did a morning fish out side PDC. Water was a little rough, but we caught a Barracuda and A Snapper and 6 or 7 small different species. Boat was clean and well equipped. Chino and Miguel were very helpful and courteous. Thanks !
