These waters are known for Great Barracuda, Yellowtail Snapper, Cubera Snapper, Black Grouper, Goliath Grouper, Red Grouper, Hogfish, African Pompano Jack, Horse-eye Jack, Grunt, wahoo, tuna, marlin, sword fish
and more – with any luck, they’ll make your reel scream. Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself light tackle fishing, trolling, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Snacks are also a good idea so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
Your adventure begins aboard a 32’ Lurhs 32 sportfishing vessel with room for 12 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
You’ll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
A few items to bring include sunglasses, a hat, and sunscreen (non-spray). Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Def will book again next time we visit - Tuna and Barracuda caught

You can't expect fish every time you go fishing. we caught both a tuna and barracuda on our 4 hour booking. Mitchy and Jimbo busted their butts to ensure a catch. We caught a tuna that was fileted for us by Mitchy. We will book again the next time we are in the Caymans. Both were very knowledgable of the local area, what fish were biting and what to use to catch a fish. Do not look elsewhere for a fishing tour.

Got lucky despite the rough water
Full day deepsea fishing on November 26, 2025 • 6 adults
Water was a little rough but we headed to 12 mile bank. Caught a barracuda on the way out. Worked the bank for awhile with not much happening but captain and his mate did a great job finding us some black fin tuna! It didnt look like the other boats had much luck. We were happy to have enough to make some delicious ceviche to share with our group that didnt go fishing. :)

We booked a full day charter with Jordan for my 35th birthday that also coincided with a Wahoo and Tuna tournament which we entered. Jordan and Kaleb are awesome people, it was just like we went fishing with two extra friends who just happened to be amazing fisherman. The boat is great with plenty of space and shade if you want it.
If you're trying to decide who to take you fishing in Grand Cayman just stop here and book. You won't be dissapointed.

Great trip, great boat, Captain and first mate got it done!
Half day deep sea fishing on April 15, 2025 • 3 adults
We rescheduled for the day after because the wind forecast was not good. We got out and it was sporty on the North wall but the Capt did great quartering the 5fters. The boat handled great and started getting fish almost immediately. First mate Caleb was as excited, maybe more so when we had a fish on. We we reeled in a small tuna, the crew saw a big fish hit it about 50 yards out and knew there was a big fish prowling about. We landed another small tuna and they proceeded to live-line it…Captain and first mate Caleb don't mess around, they wanted to land the big one for us…maybe a marlin. Unfortunately we had to leave with the bite on fire for an afternoon dive trip.

Best Day In Grand Cayman

My wife and I did a half day combo of reef fishing and deep sea fishing with Capt. Jordan and his first mate, Kaleb. We could not have asked for a better experience.
Capt. Jordan was incredibly knowledgeable of the area that we were fishing and his insight made the trip a lot more interesting than just your standard fishing charter.
Capt. Jordan was also extremely considerate of my wife's potential to get sea sick as well - when the waves were getting a little intense, he would slow down/maneuver accordingly to minimize any unnecessary movement aboard the ship. It was very kind of him and my wife very much appreciated it.
Our day with Capt. Jordan was the highlight of our honeymoon stay on Grand Cayman and I highly recommend him for all potential anglers headed down to Grand Cayman. The next time we come to Grand Cayman, we very much look forward to chartering a day of fishing once again with our new friend, Capt. Jordan.
