These waters are known for Redfish, Catfish, and more – with any luck, you'll have tight lines in no time. On the day of your trip, you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light tackle.

Your day begins aboard a 24' Pathfinder bay boat that can carry up to 5 passengers. It comes with downriggers and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.

You will need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. From a young age, I've always loved to fish, especially at Braunig or Calaveras Lake. I remember as a kid driving past the cleaning stations and seeing all of the guides with all of their catches and thinking to myself that one day I want to do that for people. Well, it turns out my passion never went away and I'm able to create memories for people by catching fish with them. I enjoy fishing for myself, but being able to see other people's reactions to catching a Redfish or a Catfish is just priceless in my eyes. I look forward to meeting and fishing with y'all in the future.
