Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks so that everyone stays happy and energized!
Capt. James will bring you aboard a 24’ Downeast with room for 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.
You might need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
A few items to bring include sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Morning Trip on July 12, 2025
I cannot say enough about Capt James and his first mate Ross. I booked this trip mostly for my wife and daughter and our friend and her daughters to get a fun experience on the water. James put them on the fish immediately and they had a blast! We fished in several different locations and took in a beautiful morning. They took the time to talk about the different fish and talk about what makes them unique. If you’re looking for a more “serious” fishing trip, I talked with him about that and he’s willing and able to make your trip what you’re looking for. They were incredibly friendly and knowledgable. I will 100% use James again and recommend him to anyone that is coming to the area.

Awesome day of fishing with Captain James and first Mate Ross - caught enough fish for our Taco Tuesday fish taco night! Boat and equipment was great, the crew was easy to talk to and always there when reeling in fish or in need of bait. Caught a variety of fish including a couple we had never seen, the coolest being a puffer fish. Great experience.

Morning Trip on July 18, 2025
Captain James and mate Ross were first rate. They made sure we were spending our time with lines baited and in the water. We didn’t land a record breaker but we pulled in plenty of fish. My family had a great day on the water. The fact that they were highly familiar with the waters and the area was a bonus.

Awesome trip!!! Was only 3 hrs long but captain James had us on the fish on our first cast, Despite it being windy. The boat and deckhand were very awesome, very knowledgeable of the bay. Thanks again!!!
