We had a great trip. Captain and First Mate were very helpful and knowledgeable. Boat was the perfect size for our party of 4. The day started out a little slow at the first spot but we quickly moved to a different spot and started catching a lot of Fish. We caught a ton of croaker, some small flounder, spots, and a sea robin. We only ended up with 2 small keepers. We tried to go after some bigger fish but they just weren’t hitting. Captain and First Mate did everything they could to try and get us the bigger ones. We got to see the wild pony’s, many porpoise, and even a pirate ship! Made it back to the dock right before the heavy rains started. We even went a little over our time slot due to our Captain not wanting to give up on getting some bigger fish. Even though we ended up with only the 2 keepers, we still had an excellent day out on the water. I would definitely book with them again.

James was a great Captain! He took very good care of my son and I and ensured that we had a good time. He did an amazing job between getting the fish off our hooks and ensuring our bait was perfect, his mate didn’t make it. He grew up fishing these waters and was very knowledgeable of the area and its history. I highly recommend choosing James as your small charter Captain.

Captain and mate were great and did a great job keeping us fishing the whole time and any rigs we lost they had a new one on for us in no time. Being from out of state we weren’t sure what to expect but Jamie made sure to put us on fish and made sure we had plenty of meat to go home with. How it’s supposed to be!!

We had a great time with Capt. James. He worked hard to put us on some fish and both him and John were both extremely patient with our crew of six. James shared his knowledge of the bay and you could sense his enthusiasm. We all caught some fish and enjoyed ourselves immensely. I would recommend James to anyone interested in a charter in OC.
