Book your next trip with Line life fishing company and find out what the fishing in Edisto Beach is all about. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Matthew can tell you all about the local fishery.
These waters hold game fish like Gag Grouper, Snowy Grouper, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Blue Marlin, Black Seabass, Red Snapper, Vermilion Snapper, Spadefish, Spanish Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Blackfin Tuna, and more with any luck. You can expect to do some light tackle fishing, trolling, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. And, you can't go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!
You'll be casting lines from a 25' parker with 2 225 hp engines
Rods, reels, and tackle, and a fishing license will be provided. The captain asks that you leave you're fishing rods at home. They fish nothing but Penn and Shimano, they appreciate it, but there is no room for the eagle claws.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. It's customary to tip the Mate 15–20% to show your appreciation.
It's recommended to bring sunglasses, a hat, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. Absolutely no work boots on the boat.

From the moment we stepped onto the boat, I knew we were in for something special but I had no idea just how unforgettable this day would be. This wasn’t just a charter, every single second was filled with excitement, laughter, and nonstop action.
Let’s talk about the fishing, we were reeling them in left and right! I'm not kidding, we caught so many fish we lost count. It was thrilling from start to finish. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or it’s your first time holding a rod, this trip is the real deal. The crew knew exactly where to go, what bait to use, and how to turn a great day into an epic one.
Then theres Captain Matt, the heart and soul of the trip. Not only is he incredibly knowledgeable and experienced, but he’s also just an all around awesome human. He made us feel comfortable right away, kept the vibe fun and relaxed, and was just as excited about every catch as we were. You can tell he truly loves what he does, and that energy is contagious. He didn’t just guide the boat, he made the whole day unforgettable.
I’ve been on a lot of adventures, but this one was the best. If you’re thinking about booking, stop thinking and just do it. You’ll laugh, you’ll catch fish, and you’ll make memories that’ll last a lifetime. I already can’t wait to go back!

Highlight of Our Summer!
12 hr trolling/bottom fishing combo on August 16, 2025
What an awesome trip! I took my 10-year-old daughter out on this offshore fishing charter and we had the BEST time. The crew was super friendly and made sure she was involved in everything—they were so patient and fun with her. Watching her reel in her first big fish was honestly the highlight of our summer!
The boat was spotless, comfortable, and we felt completely safe the whole time. It was the perfect mix of adventure and family fun. My daughter is still talking about it nonstop and already asking when we can go again.

I can’t say enough good things about our experience with Line Life Fishing. My 5-year-old son and I went out on a charter, and from start to finish, they made it absolutely perfect.
The crew was patient, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable. They took the time to explain everything in a way that kept my son engaged and excited, making sure he felt safe and involved every step of the way. You could tell they truly cared about creating a great experience not just catching fish/sharks (which we did plenty of!), but making memories.
They handled all the details bait, gear, and guidance so all we had to do was relax and enjoy. My son is still talking about the sharks we caught and the “big one” that got away. I couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to ocean fishing for him.
If you’re looking for a charter that’s professional, family-friendly, and genuinely passionate about what they do, Line Life Fishing is the way to go. We’ll definitely be booking again! Two of the most knowledgable standup guys!

Best fishing charter in Edisto!

We had an incredible day out with Line Life Fishing! From the start, Captain Matt and his first mate Riley went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience possible. Matt even adjusted our trip time to work around the weather, which we really appreciated, and he still made it happen despite sustaining an injury the day before. That level of dedication shows how much he loves what he does.
The water was a bit choppy, but Riley stayed on top of every rod, making sure they were baited and back in the water right away. He was determined to get us on fish and his patience made the trip so much more enjoyable. Even though we didn’t catch as much as we hoped, we still caught some and had a great time out there.
Since the weather had thrown off the fishing a bit, Matt took us on a scenic route back to the dock, pointing out historical homes along the shoreline while we enjoyed a calm, peaceful ride and watched dolphins swimming nearby. It was the perfect way to end the trip.
Matt is a true captain and a genuine lover of his craft. We’ll absolutely be booking again with Line Life Fishing — it’s clear they care about making every trip a memorable one.

The hospitality, the personality, and the fishing was top notch! We had 6 adults plus the crew and the boat had plenty of room and was up to the job. Captain Matt put us on the fish from start to finish, and Riley was on top of the bait and keeping the lines ready at all times.
