Spend the day with Shaail Sports Fishing and see what’s biting in Malé! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Ahmed can tell you all about them.

Around here it’s common to catch Bigeye Trevally, Blacktip Trevally, Goliath Grouper, Bluefin Trevally, Giant Trevally, Albacore Tuna, Dogtooth Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, and more, depending on the season. On the day of your trip, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.

Capt. Ahmed welcomes children aboard, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Don’t forget to bring snacks to keep their stamina going!

You’ll be welcome aboard a 22’ Center console that holds up to 3 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures.

Before coming aboard, you may be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

Don’t forget to bring sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is not allowed. There will be some light snacks provided on board.

Give yourself something to look forward to and book a trip with Shaail Sports Fishing!
