Spend the day with In The Net Sportfishing Cape Cod and get hooked on fishing in Barnstable! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Benjamin knows them forwards and back.
Depending on conditions, you might hook into Bluefish, Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Striped Bass, Scup (Porgy), Black Seabass, Flounder, Tautog, Little Tunny, Bonito, Mahi Mahi, and plenty more. You'll target your catch by spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Benjamin also offers fly fishing.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. And, you can't go wrong with snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
Capt. Benjamin welcomes you aboard a 25' Grady-White center console that holds up to 6 passengers. It has a fighting chair, and all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
It's never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, a hat, and sunscreen (non-spray). Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is not allowed. There will be warer and some light snacks for you on board.
