Spend the day with In The Net Sportfishing Cape Cod and get hooked on fishing in Barnstable! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Benjamin knows them forwards and back.

Depending on conditions, you might hook into Bluefish, Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Striped Bass, Scup (Porgy), Black Seabass, Flounder, Tautog, Little Tunny, Bonito, Mahi Mahi, and plenty more. You'll target your catch by spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Benjamin also offers fly fishing on the flats.

Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. And, you can't go wrong with snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!

Capt. Benjamin welcomes you aboard a 25' Grady-White center console that holds up to 5 passengers as well as a 17 foot skiff for up to 3 people. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

Half Day – 17’ boat - 2 anglers on June 21, 2025

Captain Ben is true professional! His boat and equipment is top-notch. He communicated well with me prior to the trip, and knew I wanted to target striper. After meeting at the dock, I boarded his beautiful 25’ Grady-White and we were off. On our way to our destination, he was identifying opportunities to put me on fish. There was action right away! He was quick to relocate when the bite died down. I landed 6 big striper and missed a few more. If I had any issue with my gear, he was ready to swap a new rig to resolve it. Captain Ben is friendly, knowledgeable and a great conversationalist. Seriously, I had a blast and have trust in him. I’m looking forward to my next trip, targeting additional species.

Half Day – 17’ boat - 2 anglers on June 20, 2025

Ben took me and my 8yo son out. We had a slow start to the day. Spotted some striper in a few spot but bite was finicky. We still put 3 in the boat despite the bite being slow. On our last drift we picked up 2 more including a fat 30 incher. Ben's boat gave us a shot on some bass that were hitting in just about 2 foot of water but the school ended up coming right in on the boat and got spooked. Overall it was a great few hours out with Ben.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Incredible Charter Experience with Captain Ben! If you're looking for the real deal fishing experience on Cape Cod, look no further than Captain Ben with In The Net Sportfishing. His knowledge of the local fishery is second to none — he knew exactly where to go, what was biting, what to throw, and had us on the fish within minutes. Safety was clearly a top priority, and it showed in the way he managed the boat and made sure everyone (including my son) felt comfortable and secure. Speaking of kids, Captain Ben was absolutely fantastic with him — patient, encouraging, and made it a memorable trip for the whole family. Unlike some charters that start winding down early, we truly got the full 4 hours of fishing, and trust me, we made every minute count! Captain Ben came fully prepared with a variety of rods and tackle for different species, ready for anything — and we ended up catching so many fish, I had to ice my wrist when I got home! 🎣 This was hands-down one of the best charters we've ever done. If you're in the Cape Cod area, book with Captain Ben — you won't regret it!

Unforgettable Fishing Experience with Captain Ben!

VERIFIED

3 hour AM - 17’ boat - 2 anglers on June 4, 2025

I’ve been on fishing charters all over the world, and I can confidently say Captain Ben is the best I’ve ever experienced. From the moment we arrived, he went above and beyond. I had mistakenly booked for only 2 people when we actually had 4, and without a hint of frustration, Captain Ben immediately switched to a larger boat to accommodate us. That level of professionalism and flexibility set the tone for the entire trip. Captain Ben's experience truly shows. He didn’t just take us fishing, he took us catching. He knew exactly where to go and what kind of fish were biting, and he put us right on the action. We were reeling in a variety of fish the whole time, and there was never a dull moment. He was proactive, attentive, and genuinely friendly, making sure everyone had a great time. If you’re looking for a top tier fishing charter with someone who knows the waters, loves what he does, and treats his guests like VIPs, look no further. Book with Captain Ben and you won’t regret it!

My first cape cod charter and Captain Ben did not disappoint. Constantly put my girlfriend and I on quality fish the entire trip, If things slowed down he knew exactly where to go and what to use to get us back into the action, if I could give more than 5 stars I would. Awesome guide and a trip we will never forget!

Captain Ben has been fishing the waters of Cape Cod Massachusetts since he was just 10 years old. Ben is a USCG licensd captain, CPR certified, and has hundreds of hours of experience on his local waters. He specializes in light tackle inshore fishing for Striped Bass and False Albacore. His favorite way to fish is throwing large topwater plugs for big Striped Bass. Ben has landed numerous 30-40 pound class Stripers over the years all over the Massachusetts coastline. This past Spring Ben landed a 51 inch Striper from his kayak casting a soft plastic at first light. Ben caught his first Tuna at age 12, a 130 pound Bluefin landed on standup 50 pound class gear. Ben has worked at local Cape Cod tackle shop "Sports Port" in Hyannis for the past four summers, further deepening his knowledge of the local fishing scene and allowing him to stay dialed in on the bite. Ben is a natural born teacher, he is patient, cooperative, and enthusiastic both on and off the water. During the "offseason" Ben teaches middle school Social Studies, while of course squeezing in as much fishing time as possible on the weekends. Whether it be from his kayak, tin boat, or 25 foot Grady White "The 3 Buoys," Ben is always on the water during fishing season
