There's no guarantee when you're fishing, but just some of the species you can catch around here include Red Grouper, Nurse Shark, Yellowtail Snapper, Little Tunny (False Albacore), Bonito, Cero Mackerel, Scup (Porgy), Lane Snapper, Tarpon, Bull Shark, Blackfin Tuna, Mutton Snapper, and more if conditions allow. On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks so that everyone stays happy and energized!
Capt. Bryan welcomes you aboard a 27' Bowen Marine panga with capacity for 3 passengers. It has all the essentials. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
It's never a bad idea to bring sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

My little sister and I went fishing with Captain Bryan and had an absolute blast! From the moment we got on the boat, he explained everything clearly and made sure we were comfortable and confident. He was super patient and fun, and truly made the whole experience memorable for both of us. We caught a ton of fish and laughed the whole time – it was honestly one of the best days we’ve had together. Just a heads up: don’t bring bananas on the boat – apparently it’s bad luck! 😂 If you’re looking to catch fish and have a great time while doing it, go fishing with Captain Bryan. I’m not one to really write a review or really much of a boat girl ( I get sea sick easy ) but I just want to give a huge shout out!! My husband and I booked this fishing trip for our honeymoon and boy Capt. Bryan DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! We both had an amazing time catching fish all morning! And if we weren’t getting anything, he made sure to move and put us on the fish. And he made sure to keep us both comfortable on the water which was very successful with keeping me from getting sea sick. He made sure to keep the boat in nice calm waters. We also really enjoyed the more personalized experience as we were the only ones on this trip. My husband caught and released a 3ft lemon shark and I caught a red grouper (the biggest fish of my life)! It truly was an amazing experience and we both will never forget this. And we will definitely rebook again!

Bryan is great, we caught a bunch of fish, the boat is small, but perfect for two to three people. You will see this on every review, let me explain where Bryan separates himself from the rest. Bryan has an extremely friendly and accommodating personality which puts you at ease right away. He ask questions about you and what you and your group are looking for on your trip out. His knowledge is extensive, he is patient with rookies and a fantastic teacher. We caught blue runners and two king mackerel that were impressive snags and he maneuvered the boat masterfully to help us pursue those beauties. He shared wonderful insight and history about the island and had us feeling like we were lifelong friends by the end of the trip.
