Good Times Charters 

We had a great time! Captain Bryan actually picked us up in St John for a small extra fee which was very helpful. Took my 2 teens. Captain Bryan asked what we were looking for and we said something we could eat. He took us out and we promptly got on Mahi Mahi. We brought in 3 big ones and hooked a barracuda as well. When my daughter began feeling a little queasy Captain Bryan took us to calmer waters where we anchored and fished off the side. He cleaned and fileted our catch for us. Great day!

Great day fishing with Captain Bryan! He went over the typical stuff, then it was on to fishing. My son and I opted to go offshore and it hit. We had a line run 10min on the fishing grounds. It was a beast! My son took first turn trying to real this fish in. We fought it and it felt like 2hrs....20ft in, 100ft out. Captain Bryan took a turn also because my son and I were gassed. I took the reins and Captain Bryan was trying to pull the line up by hand but the pole snapped. Like I said, this was a beast. We kept on the broken pole and got the giant almost to the boat before the line broke. My son got a good video of the shark coming up and it was a fight of a lifetime for the 3 of us! After the bout of the day, we came back for another round. This time we hooked a wahoo and then we finished the morning with a cuda. It was a great trip, especially when Capt jumped into the fight to give his guests a breather. Top notch service and I will not hesitate to put my recommendation out for a trip with Captain Bryan!

Captain Bryan was great at explaining our options before we set out on our epic adventure! It was a little windy so we stayed inshore, opting for likely smaller but more fish of different species. We hooked up the first time we wet a line, all 4 of us!! We even caught a large barricuda and a 7’ or so Reef Shark! Captain Bryan cleaned our catch and we took the yellowtail snapper and strawberry grouper to the restaurant Hooked! There, the chef prepared grilled fish tacos for the four of us and I can’t say I’ve had a better fish taco than those! Overall, FIVE STARS, Highly Recommend fishing with Captain Bryan!!

It was too rough to go out to the North or South drop as I knew when booking and we still had a good day even though Mother Nature was against us. I could a lot of grouper, snapper and similar reef fish. I had something large on for about 20 minutes and didnt make much progress before it finally found a way to break me off but I did get my workout in. I just wish I had gotten a look at it to know what I was fighting and losing to! To end the day I caught several Tarpon and those wore me out to end the day. The captain was great really knew the waters and how to catch fish. I got a few great images and a perfect few of the Tarpon. A+ day in my book. I will go again for sure when I return. PG

Have done a few of these on different vacations, Captain was on top of it all. Started the day asking what fish we wanted to catch, then laid out several plans on what kind of fishing and where he could take us. We caught a great mix of fish, put us on several spots, if one spot wasn’t working, he was super quick to move us to a new spot. He was knowledgeable about the area, had great jokes, and kept hooks baited. If a rod got tangled or line snapped, he had another rod in your hand right away instead of waiting to set up new tackle. Cleaned our fish and gave us a great recommendation for a “you hook it, we cook it” restaurant. 10/10, couldn’t ask for a better day. Best charter I’ve done to date.

Bryan was a great captain who was very professional our entire trip. He’s a very laid back captain who got us on fish right away. He accommodated for my 3-year old son to come on the fishing trip and made sure he had a good day as well. Throughout the day we caught 10+ fish including a shark that Bryan recommended we try to catch after having such a good day bottom fishing. We caught numerous species on our 3- hour trip. I feel Bryan was on it knowing the time frame we had. He certainly was well knowledgeable with the waters knowing the experience we had with him today. I would not hesitate to book a longer trip with him in the future. Thanks for great day and many photos.

My wife and I were celebrating our 15 year anniversary with a 5 day stay down in St. Thomas. We each chose one activity, with me choosing fishing and she chose zip lining. While we had fun on both, we both agree that the boat ride / fishing / snorkeling was the highlight of the trip! Captain Bryan is amazing, he let us do as much (or as little) of the fishing activities as we wanted, and gave us the option to do different kinds of fishing and explained what the likely outcomes would be - i.e. bottom fishing you'll likely catch more fish, but they will be smaller, trolling you'll get bigger fish but they won't come as frequently, etc. We chose to do both, and I had reached out prior to our trip to ask if we could also spend a little bit of time snorkeling, ideally somewhere close to sea turtles. Just like how he put us right on the fish (I was amazed, it was literally seconds after dropping the bait that we had fish on), he also put us right on top of the turtles - and even provided some snorkeling gear for us! We got absolutely POURED on during the trip, but since we were snorkeling anyway it didn't matter, and if we wanted we could have stayed under the covered portion of his boat to avoid most of the rain. We literally lost count of how many Lane Snappers and Silverfish we caught, and we also reeled in two barracuda's, including one that was close to 3 feet long! If we ever end up back in or around St. Thomas, I will without a doubt be looking for Captain Bryan and Good Times Charter for another trip!

went with my husband and 2 kids, my 1p year old loves to fish. Brian was wonderful and made great suggestions for where and how we should fish and made adjustments when needed to keep the action going! we caught lots of vermillion snapper that he cleaned for us and we had for dinner. we caught blue runner, jacks, a file fish, a huge grouper, AND A BARRACUDA! about 22 lb. my son got to reel it in. wad excellent!!!!!!

we had an amazing day fishing with Brian! He was kind and courteous and kept the day moving very quickly. We fished three different shipwreck sites and caught several small fish and then did trolling and caught king mackerel. we then went fishing for Tarpon and shark. it was already time for our charter to be over but my husband snagged an 8 foot 200 pound nurse shark and Bryan kept our trip going for another two hours to help us get great photos and video! It was an amazing trip and I highly recommend it! Super safe and we felt it was the highlight of our vacation!

We had a fatastic time with captain Bryan! he was very accomating as we has two young kids (4&6). We only did a half day trip but were able to catch all kinds of fish! We didnt venture out too far because we were worried it would be too rough, but that did not stop the exictement. We had a great time and the kids have not stopped talking about our adventures.
