Detroit Walleye Charter 

Spend the day on the Detroit River Jigging and let them show you what makes the fishing the Detroit River so memorable! Captain Chris will be your guide, which allows you to benefit from years of knowledge and experience.

Local species include Walleye, White Bass, and more, depending on when you go. You can expect to do some trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

If you’re traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Don’t forget to bring snacks!

Your boat for the day is a 20’ Warrior dual console that can carry up to 4 passengers. It has downriggers and all the essentials.

Capt. Chris will provide rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.

You will need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect. You can’t go wrong when you bring bottled water, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
