Looking to catch some fish in Edgewater? That’s what Bay Hunter II is here for! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Mason can tell you all about the local fishery.
Depending on conditions, you might hook into Striped Bass, Bluefish, Black Seabass, Catfish, White Perch, Spanish Mackerel, and plenty more. You’ll target your catch by light tackle fishing, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Don’t forget to bring snacks so that everyone stays happy and energized!
You’ll be welcome aboard a 45’ Downeast with space for 38 passengers. It has all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. What’s more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
It’s never a bad idea to bring bottled water, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now’s the time to experience fishing in Edgewater for yourself, with Bay Hunter II!
