Around here it’s common to catch Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, Musselcracker, Skipjack Tuna, and more, depending on conditions.

On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.

You’ll be dropping lines from a 28’ Center console with space for 8 passengers. It has outriggers, and everything else you need for a productive day on the water.

Rods and reels are not supplied for you, so ask the captain about bringing your own or renting some for an extra cost. Be sure to ask about bait and lures as well.

Before coming aboard, it may be necessary to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

Don’t leave home without bottled water, sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
