Whether you are a seasoned angler or a beginner, Captain Dave strives to make sure you have the best experience ever.
Captain Dave is happy to have kids aboard. He has kids himself and it always makes his day when he gets to put a fishing pole in their hands then watch their face light up with excitement when a fish hits their hook! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board.
You'll be casting from a 36' Yellowfin center console with triple 350hp engines that can carry up to 6 passengers. It is loaded with top-of-the-line equipment. There is a toilet on board and fresh water. Rods, reels, and tackle are included, as well as lures and live bait.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 15-20% tip is customary.
Species like Amberjack, Snapper, Grouper, Blackfin Tuna, and more can be found in these waters if you cast your line at the right time of year. Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
It's always wise to bring sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. Long-sleeved SPF shirts are preferred. Water is included, free of charge but feel free to bring your own drinks and snacks. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but please avoid bringing hard liquor and any glass bottles.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is get a good night's sleep the night before, roll out of bed the next morning, and show up ready for some fishing! It is guaranteed to be a great time.

It was just me and my 14 yr old son and captain Dave made sure we caught our limit of Yellow Tail and Grouper and even a Red Snapper. They made sure the paid attention to my son and helped him as needed. Of when we we hooked up on both lines, and got tangled, Capt Dave and team were patient and helped us land both fish (even though we had to cut one of the lines. Thank you Capt Dave and FH for a great experience!
