Livin' Charters 

Spend the day with Livin' Charters and get hooked on fishing in Nokomis! With Captain Josh at the helm, you'll have a knowledgeable and experienced guide.

Depending on the season, you might hook into Red Grouper, Blackfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Black Grouper, Cobia, Amberjack, Gag Grouper, Permit, Red Snapper, Yellowtail Snapper, Swordfish, and whatever else takes the bait. On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Josh can also have you kite fishing.

Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. You're welcome to bring snacks to keep 'em happy!

You'll be casting lines from a 39' Contender center console that holds up to 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 15–20% tip.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.

A few items to bring include sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
