You'll target your catch by spinning, popping, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Capt. Suheil operates a 29' Panga with space for 4 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
You might need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

We had a day of trolling with Suheil, Peter and Joel and enjoyed every minute. We wanted to catch new species for us and were successful with a wahoo each as well as 3 dorado. Not only were we collected from and returned to our hotel, and a very tasty biryani provided but as much of our catch as we wanted was prepared for us to take back to our hotel, for the chef to cook that evening ( delicious) while every bit of the remainder was shared with the fishing community . We would definitely go with Suheil again if we are back in Mombasa!

The weather was lovely, and the seas were calm. Captain Suheil graciously picked me up at my hotel in the morning, and we were on the water within an hour. The Sea Skipper is a small but mighty boat, and the crew worked very hard the entire day. We landed a beautiful Mahi Mahi right away and had a Blue Marlin on the line shortly after the Mahi was on the deck. The Marlin put up a fight with some long runs. What a thrill to watch it explode out of the water and jump around. The crew was essential in getting the beast into the Sea Skipper. There was plenty of water, soda, and food. It was a once-in-a-lifetime catch for me and a weekly experience for Captain Suheil. Don't miss out on this opportunity.

Communication with Suheil was great from the start of enquiries all the way through to being dropped off after the last trip. helpful, punctual. the equipment on the boat is good with tiagras and tld30a 2 speeds being used and looked after. managed to hook into a few dorado over the 2 half days, a wahoo and dropped a Sailfish. Suheil will also let you fish, none of this deck hand hooking and passing over the rod, although they will if that's what you want. i would definitely book again when next in the area.

There were high waves, the sea was very wild, it felt like a washing machine. My wife and my daughter had a really tough time but persevered, just like Suheil, to catch something. Unfortunately, we didn't succeed, but I did have a fantastic day. Highly recommended.

Suheil and his crew were awesome! I caught 19 fish in two full days on the water, 18 dorado & 1 wahoo. Unfortunately, I didn't get a sailfish but that was just luck of the draw. Suheil and his crew took great care of me and ensured my experience was top notch. He even gave me a ride to the airport. I'll definitely be back at some point.
