Spend the day with Sea Skipper Fishing Charters and find out what the fishing in Mombasa is all about! Captain Suheil Yakub will be your guide, giving you access to years of angling experience.
Sea Skipper is indeed a great trophy Hunter. A winner of several fishing competitions in Kenya. It’s not only about the charter it’s also about the Glory you carry with it.
Top targets include Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Bigeye Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Longtail Tuna, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Black Marlin, Blue Marlin, Striped Marlin, Sailfish, Giant Trevally, Mako Shark, and more with any luck. You’ll target your catch by spinning, popping, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Capt. Suheil operates a 29’ Panga with space for 4 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, everything you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
You’ll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
You might need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
A few items to bring include sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks provided on board.
How often would you rather be fishing? Go on and turn that day dream into a reality, with Sea Skipper Fishing Charters.
