Sea Skipper Fishing Charters – Mombasa 

We were both complete beginners, but the captain and crew helped us catch a big fish — a HUGE wahoo! 🎣 It was such an exciting and unforgettable experience. Afterwards, the restaurant cooked our catch for us, and it was delicious! Highly recommended — definitely worth the trip! We had a day of trolling with Suheil, Peter and Joel and enjoyed every minute. We wanted to catch new species for us and were successful with a wahoo each as well as 3 dorado. Not only were we collected from and returned to our hotel, and a very tasty biryani provided but as much of our catch as we wanted was prepared for us to take back to our hotel, for the chef to cook that evening ( delicious) while every bit of the remainder was shared with the fishing community . We would definitely go with Suheil again if we are back in Mombasa!

The weather was lovely, and the seas were calm. Captain Suheil graciously picked me up at my hotel in the morning, and we were on the water within an hour. The Sea Skipper is a small but mighty boat, and the crew worked very hard the entire day. We landed a beautiful Mahi Mahi right away and had a Blue Marlin on the line shortly after the Mahi was on the deck. The Marlin put up a fight with some long runs. What a thrill to watch it explode out of the water and jump around. The crew was essential in getting the beast into the Sea Skipper. There was plenty of water, soda, and food. It was a once-in-a-lifetime catch for me and a weekly experience for Captain Suheil. Don't miss out on this opportunity.

Communication with Suheil was great from the start of enquiries all the way through to being dropped off after the last trip. helpful, punctual. the equipment on the boat is good with tiagras and tld30a 2 speeds being used and looked after. managed to hook into a few dorado over the 2 half days, a wahoo and dropped a Sailfish. Suheil will also let you fish, none of this deck hand hooking and passing over the rod, although they will if that's what you want. i would definitely book again when next in the area.

Suheil and his crew were awesome! I caught 19 fish in two full days on the water, 18 dorado & 1 wahoo. Unfortunately, I didn't get a sailfish but that was just luck of the draw. Suheil and his crew took great care of me and ensured my experience was top notch. He even gave me a ride to the airport. I'll definitely be back at some point.

Today second day of fishing we caught 8 fish Wahoo, Dorados, yellow fin tuna and bonito. Very propably got a hit by marlin and two of sailfish but not for long. Westher was nice Captain crew and boat awesome like allways. After the fishing trip we took a fillet of Dorado to a restaurant just by the boat and had one of the best fish dishes ever and I do have experience of over 50 years of dining! Tomorrow will be the third and last day but only this time! Let the marlins grow for one day more🤣 I strongly recommend this charter company for a professionally arranged fishing day!

Today we went out with captain Suheil and his crew (Peter & Banjo). What an experience it was, we had a choppy day out at sea and to start the sailing from the crew was exceptional. We banged into a massive sail fin early on and was the best fishing highlight of my life, it gave an amazing fight and tasted even better after. These guys are top draw and I would recommend them to anyone, they target the fish you desire and they are as honest as they come, will definitely be booking them again during our 2 week stay in Mombasa

Honestly couldn’t have expected more, the tackle was great and the crew knew exactly what they were on. The packed lunch, a biryani, was restaurant quality. Overall, it was a great day, we were hoping to catch a marlin but fishing conditions were a little too calm but we made up for it with a 60lb barracuda. The crew filleted it up and I am proud to say we ate the whole thing - bloody good! Big thanks to Suheil and if ever I am in Mombasa again I will surely be back.

Like earlier pick up and back to hotel after fishing day. Caught a Dorado and a Bonito used the the day to find a Marlin which only took our live bait but did not touch the hooks😬 Saw tens of dolphins just by the boat for a while. After fishing trip a chef made a splendid lunch of our Dorado fillet!
