We did a full day trip with Suheil during our stay in Diani Beach. Pickup from our hotel and just a short drive to where the boat was being kept. We had a day of trolling with Suheil, Peter and Joel and enjoyed every minute. We wanted to catch new species for us and were successful with a wahoo each as well as 3 dorado. Not only were we collected from and returned to our hotel, and a very tasty biryani provided but as much of our catch as we wanted was prepared for us to take back to our hotel, for the chef to cook that evening ( delicious) while every bit of the remainder was shared with the fishing community . The trip was a lot of fun! We were picked up at our location and driven to the marina. Food and drinks were provided, as well as all fishing gear. The weather was nice and we were able to catch three fish. During the process, we were supported all the way so you could tell these guys are pros. Later, our catch was cleaned and we were able to eat it back at our accomodation that exact night. Next time I am in Mombasa, I will go fish with these guys again!

Communication with Suheil was great from the start of enquiries all the way through to being dropped off after the last trip. helpful,  punctual. the equipment on the boat is good with tiagras and tld30a 2 speeds being used and looked after.  managed to hook into a few dorado over the 2 half days,  a wahoo and dropped a Sailfish. Suheil will also let you fish, none of this deck hand hooking and passing over the rod,  although they will if that’s what you want.  i would definitely book again... More

on the drive to Suheils boat with my husband and 2 daughters we asked him where we could buy fish if we wanted to carry some back with us. Suheils response- buy fish?? you will get fish when you are out on the water today. And Suheil and his crew, Peter and Banjo, obviously know the waters of Mombasa and made sure we went home with a giant cooler full of dorado and tuna. in 4 hours we hooked over 10 fish, including a bull dorado.
