If you plan on fishing in Biscayne National Park, look no further than Coastal Runners. Captain Pablo will be your guide, giving you access to years of sportfishing experience.
Depending on conditions, you might hook into Yellowtail Snapper, Mutton Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Black Grouper, Red Grouper, Cobia, Great Barracuda, Mahi Mahi, Blackfin Tuna, Snook, Tarpon, Speckled Trout, and whatever else is biting. During the trip, you might be spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Trips with Coastal Runners are kid-friendly, so feel free to make a family day out of it! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Feel free to bring your own snacks!
You’ll be welcome aboard a 25’ Mako 253 walkaround with space for 4 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain. A few items to bring include bottled water, sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Look no further, Captain Pablo is your guy!
My dad and I are amateur anglers with little to no knowledge about how to target specific fish, but we learned so much from Captain Pablo during our trip! He is very knowledgeable about all the local fishing spots. The boat is equipped with everything you need down to a cooler full of drinks. Pablo adapts to your knowledge level and fishing experience, patiently explaining why he is using certain rigs or how to utilize the onboard fish finding equipment. His instinct for targeting fish helped us land a HUGE monster Amberjack! If you are experienced or not, Pablo will make sure that your time out there is well spent and you will learn a lot. My dad and I had a blast and you will too!

Perfect experience for a family trip
Pablo took us on a spectacular tour of biscayne bay and coached us to catch over a dozen fish. He was perfectly prepared with a cooler of ice water and several bait options. He listened carefully to our needs and more than accommodated them, including finding a fishing spot near a rookery so the birder among us could observe a variety of species happily. He took great care of our elderly mom while still providing us with an active fascinating and successful trip.

Amazing experience
Captain Pablo was an amazing guy. We went out to a few different spots caught a fish as first time fishers and even ran across a lobster couldn’t take him home sadly but got to see and get a video up close and personal!
