Book your next trip with ReelFowl Charters and find out what makes the fishing out of Duck so unique. With Captain Walker at the helm, you’ll benefit from years of local knowledge and experience. He provides an enjoyable day of fishing on the Currituck and Albemarle Sounds. All trips are kid and family-friendly and focused on having a fun and safe day on the water.
With convenient pickup locations right there in Duck, the captain's goal is to keep you out of traffic and on the water longer. Pickups are also available at the Sound Park in Harbinger, NC.
Depending on the season, you might hook into Speckled Trout, Red Drum, Striped Bass, White Perch, Flounder, Black Drum, and plenty more.
You’ll find new Penn reels, rods, and quality tackle will be provided. The charter will provide ice on board to keep your catch cool and fresh.
Feel free to bring plenty of snacks and drinks to enjoy your day on the sounds of the Outer Banks. Due to fishing in Joint Waters, individual CRFL fishing licenses will be required (available online). Youth anglers under 16 are exempt from the license requirement.

Fantastic Day on the Water with Captain Walker!
We had an excellent experience on our fishing charter with Captain Walker. From the moment we stepped aboard, his professionalism, enthusiasm, and deep knowledge of the area were evident. Although the water temperature wasn’t ideal for fishing that day, Captain Walker went above and beyond to find the best spots and give us every opportunity to reel something in. Despite the conditions, we managed to catch a beautiful flounder and had plenty of bites throughout the trip, which kept the excitement alive. What truly stood out was Captain Walker’s dedication—not only to the fishing but to making sure everyone had a great time. He was especially fantastic with the kids, patiently teaching them how to cast and making them feel like part of the crew. Even on a tough fishing day, Captain Walker made the experience memorable, fun, and educational. Highly recommend this charter for anyone looking for a great time on the water with a captain who genuinely cares. We look forward to booking with him next year. Hopefully the water will be cooler.

Walker is Top Notch
We had a really fun trip with Captain Walker. He was a very good guide and host. The equipment was all in great shape. He keeps a super clean and organized boat. There was weather forecast for the day of our trip ( Thanks Erin) and Captain Walker reached out to us ahead of time and offered us another time slot with a better forecast. I appreciate how easy he made it for us to change dates. He really was a great guide and fun Captain. I will be booking with Reel Fowl Charters in the future- no doubt.

Once again didn't disappoint!!!1
We went out on June 25th. It was probably about 85/90 by 7AM. He told us the water was probably going to be too hot to catch anything, but he worked his magic and still got us a couple good catches. I have taken my 8yr old son with me every time, and it was good to see him understand when Captain Walker said, "If you can brave today that means you are a true fisherman." My son still says that line to all his friends. We have used Captain Walker now 3 times in the last 2 years. We will use him again next year when we are down. Thanks again for the great times!!!!

Great time even with crappy weather
Walker made the best out of a not so great weather day. He was quick to respond and was flexible with moving our booking, if we wanted. We chose to give it a try but ran into some rain. Walker was so kind and patient with our kids. They love to fish, but we are clueless! They caught 9 fish - and were so excited! I would definitely recommend and would book again with Walker.
