Ready to fish San Diego? Butchered Tails offers private sportfishing trips for up to four guests aboard a 34’ SeaVee boat equipped with everything you need for a day on the water.
Depending on the season, you could target Calico Bass, Sculpin, White Seabass, Bluefin Tuna, and more. Trips may include trolling with light or heavy tackle, kite fishing, and live bait.
Rods, reels, lures, drinks, food, and light snacks are provided. Live bait may also be available depending on the trip.
Kids are welcome, making this a great option for families. Children are required to wear life jackets, so check with the captain ahead of time to confirm the right size is available.
A First Mate will be on board to help throughout the trip.
Depending on the trip and species, you may need a California fishing license or additional permits. Check with the captain before heading out.
Bring non-spray sunscreen, sunglasses, and anything else you need to stay comfortable. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but no hard liquor or glass bottles.
