Depending on the season, you might hook into Black Seabass, Bonito, Blacktip Shark, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Grunt, Spanish Mackerel, Gag Grouper, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Vermilion Snapper, Amberjack, Sailfish, Blackfin Tuna, and whatever else takes the bait.

You’ll target your catch by light tackle fishing, trolling, drifting, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Trips with Side Kick Charters are fun for all ages, so get ‘em offline and onto the water! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Also remember to bring snacks for a boost of energy when needed!

Capt. Shane runs a 32’ Sportfishing with capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, a fighting chair, and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience.

Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you.

Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. It’s customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Have in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.

Don’t leave home without a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
