Galveston Fishing Adventures Galveston
Galveston Fishing Adventures welcomes you to the stunning waters of Galveston. Galveston Fishing Adventures has several Licensed Captains who will be your guide, so you'll benefit from years of experience fishing these waters.
Species like Flounder, Redfish, Blacktip Shark, Bonnethead Shark, Black Drum, Speckled Trout, Spotted Seatrout, Spanish Mackerel, Sheepshead, and more inhabit these waters if you come at the right time of year. During the trip, you might be spinning, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Snacks are also a good idea to keep 'em happy!
You'll be casting lines from a 24' Cobia center console that can carry up to 6 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Galveston Fishing Adventures has rods and reels for you. Live bait is available.
Before coming aboard, you'll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
Some essentials to bring are sunscreen (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Go ahead and treat yourself to a day on the water with Galveston Fishing Adventures.

It was the day after a tropical storm in Galveston so i was skeptical but glad we got to go as planned. We caught a few fish at each spot. Variety of species. I told the captain we just wanted to reel as much in as possible and he delivered. Booking and payment was actually efficient using the fishing booker system. We caught about 15 fish (catch and release) and had a great time. Captain Moe had a program...fish at each spot awhile and move to the next. Harborwalk launch location was also super convenient. Grady White boat was smooth on the light bay chop also. Thanks- great day!
Hi George. Thank you for taking the time to review your experience and for choosing Het Hooked Charters to spend the day with on the water! It was nice to meet you and your daughter at dock today as well and we look forward to the next time. Thanks again, Melody and the GHC Crew

Trey was a delightful captain and managed our trip extremely well. We didn't really get much beyond the jetty area of the Gulf, but that was more due to one of our members getting seasick. He knew to move back quickly to calmer waters, but still fishable. While we only managed to catch two keepers, we caught numerous fish. Far more than I've ever caught in such a short amount of time, despite not being able to keep them. I loved Trey's stories and thought it made the whole trip that much better. Not to mention we got to meet Hank when we docked! We would certainly go again and suggest anyone look into their various packages.
Thank you for the review and I will be sure that Captain Trae gets your feedback as well!. If you ever make it out here again with us, contact me and we will get you on the boat with him. Thanks again Wendy and we appreciate your business. See you next time, Melody and Captain Trae

First of all...Trey was fan-freaking-tastic! That man deserves a raise! He was very informative and so patient with my boys. We went to several spots and he had different gear for every situation at the ready. Also the smoothest ride I've had on the water in 10 years! We didn't catch anything we could keep but we were still pulling them in which was all the fun we needed! One of the best experiences I've had on the water in ages. We will definitely be returning! Thank you for the lovely memories!
Hi Melissa, it sounds like Trae helped make the day on the water a great time and memories made. We love to hear that our captains are taking such good care of our customers and that y'all are having fun out there. I will be sure that he sees your review as well. If you make it back out there with us, be sure to contact me and I will try and get you on the boat with him again. Thanks again and we look forward to more time on the water with you and your family, Melody and the GFA Crew

We did not know what to expect but boy were we surprised. We took our 9 year old grandson fishing. And capt Mo and Naan knew the job, they pleased our boy and we’re all about giving him one of the best memories. Capt Mo treated us like we were family. When we come back we want him to be our Captain. My grandson out fished all by catching a trout cat fish and a black tip shark.. thank you guys sooo much it was so fun!!
Hey Lisa. Great review and sounds like an even better time on the water making lifelong memories!
