Make the most of your time in Sarasota and go fishing with SiestaKation Charters. With Captain Brendan at the helm, you’ll have a knowledgeable and experienced guide.
Local species include Amberjack, Great Barracuda, Vermilion Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Lane Snapper, Gag Grouper, Goliath Grouper, Red Grouper, Scamp Grouper, Grunt, Gray Triggerfish, King Mackerel (Kingfish), and more, depending on when you go. For these species, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
SiestaKation Charters is a child-friendly charter service, so get ‘em offline and onto the water! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Feel free to bring your own snacks for a boost of energy when needed!
Capt. Brendan welcomes you aboard a 26’ TwinVee catamaran with space for 6 passengers. It has outriggers and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Capt. Brendan has rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
There’s no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
It’s never a bad idea to bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is not allowed.

4 Hour Trip – Inshore (AM)
Caught a whopper of a triple tail.
Captain Brendan is an enthusiastic, high energy, very personable guide. His communications prior to the top were clear and very responsive.To say he likes fishing is an understatement. He loves it! He knows the Siesta Key waters well having grown up there. He has an amazing ability to see fish under the water and I think he can think like a fish. He put us on fish in several places, though not many keepers. That was all but forgotten when my son-in-law landed a 28"/20+ lb triple tail that Captain Brendan spied and hooked by a buoy. A very enjoyable charter. Highly recommend Captain Bendan and SiestaKation Charters.

Amazing Day
This was our first fishing trip and oh what a day it was! The water was so calm and the sun was warm. We caught many varieties of fish. We promise we won’t share your secret fishing locations! Brendan busted his tail ensuring our first time ever fishing mate was dialed in the entire trip. We can’t wait to come back and head back out with SiestaKation. Thanks again Brendan!

Captain B Was Great
We did a Near Shore trip and had a great time! Captain put us to some fish quickly. We caught many Lane Snapper and some other species. He taught us we needed to know and had us fishing very quickly. He was very attentive and juggled helping the four of us very well. We will certainly be back next year for another trip. The restaurant at the harbor cooked the fish for us and it was a great experience as well. Highly recommend Captain B and Spearfish Grill!

Great day put with the boys!
Captin Brendan was awsome! He's put us on the fish and was very knowledgeable about the fishing spots and how to catch them up ! I really recommend this charter to anyone! If it's you and the kids or you and the boys you guys are gonna have a good time !

A great fishing trip
Capt Brendan did a great job getting us where the fish were and was a great help to those of us who didn't know what they were doing. Everyone caught fish and had a great time. It was nice that the boat ride was good as well.
