Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Redfish, Sheepshead, Speckled Trout, and whatever else is biting. On the day of your trip, you’re likely to troll using light tackle.

Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites for a boost of energy when needed!

Your fishing machine for the day is a 23’ Tidewater bay boat with room for 4 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.

You will need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect. It’s always wise to bring bottled water, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed.
