The fish in these waters include Amberjack, Red Grouper, Scamp Grouper, Tarpon, Grunt, Gag Grouper, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Great Barracuda, Cobia, Vermilion Snapper, Red Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, and more with any luck. During the trip, you might be spinning, popping, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Capt. Don operates a 23' Sea Pro center console with space for 4 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.

We had an absolutely incredible experience with Dauphins Fishing Charter! I had originally booked a 3-hour trip but ended up upgrading to a 4-hour trip, and I am so glad I did—nobody ever complained about a fishing trip being too long! From the very start, the communication was top-notch. Captain Ryan was excellent to work with through FishingBooker and seamlessly helped me adjust our booking from a 4:00 PM slot to a 6:00 AM slot. Captain Don was our captain for the day, and he was phenomenal. He is a incredibly warm gentleman and was absolutely amazing and patient with the kids. We caught a ton of fish, including Snappers, Black Snappers, Flounder, Grouper, Pig Fish, and Sheepshead. The highlight of the trip was definitely my 10-year-old daughter catching the most fish of the day! Captain Don even let my 12-year-old son drive the boat for a bit, which had him on cloud nine. To top it all off, we got our catch cleaned right at the marina, and Captain Don gave us a stellar recommendation to head over to Dat Cajun Place for lunch, where they cooked up our fresh catch exactly how we wanted it. Overall, it was a flawless, amazing experience. We will definitely be booking with them again the next time we are in Panama City Beach! Highly, highly recommend.
Our fishing trip was amazing! Captain Don not only took us to the fish he also coach and encourage you the whole trip.He also was very patient and works very well with children. We went out with a personal goal to each catch a nice size red fish and we was successfully along with some speckled trout and black snapper. Would definitely recommend Captain Don and if the opportunity comes again we will be back.
10/10 I booked this for my son’s 10th birthday. He has fished in lakes and ponds, but I knew he would love a sea fishing trip. I booked the inshore 3 hour trip with Captain Don and my husband said it was amazing. I ended up letting them have a father son fishing day and I saw the pictures. Nothing but smiles from my son. My husband said Captain Don is super good with kids. He caught five fish.. I also didn’t know they clean them, skin them, descale them, and vaccine pack them if you want. Good to know if you are traveling and can take them home. I also found out there are restraints that you can take the fish too and they will cook them for a price and serve them to you! So cool!
Capt. Don is a great fisherman and we had an amazing day out. He is a great teacher and made our experience exceptional. He put us on the fish early and we landed a bunch of big ones and mix of species. Def one for the books and we will be back. Thanks Mr Don!
We recently went on a trip with my kids for their first time catching a fish. The Captain was great with my kids and teaching them the proper way to catch the fish with patience. They were extremely happy to catch their first trout. Great memories made!
